I would consider myself a creative person, I enjoy art, music and fashion (and other arty things). As a creative person I really enjoy playing with different patterns and designs (and as a result have trouble grasping the theory of simple style). My Favorite prints and other such things are POLKADOTS, KIDS DESIGNS (i.e. like circus designs or children-story-like patterns),STRIPES, TRIBAL (althought I really hate using that therm because "tribal" prints in magazines usually include different styles from African, Indian, Native American or Polynesian and in my opinion they are so different I don't think they should really be grouped together) but my all time favorite print has to be ANIMAL PRINTS. I think they can easily become hoochy, but if you play your cards right I think they can creat an awsome outfit. I personally don't think I own anything with animal prints on it.....which is strange, but I guess it's hard to come by a classy peice with animal print on it. I have been considering for a long time now, going out and making myself a dress or shirt with animal print. Mia, my cousin, and I have been talking for a while now about getting our grandmother (who is a seamstress) to make faux fur coats for us. I thought I would try to compile some ideas for me aswell as anyone interested, some classy uses of animal prints.
The thing with prints like this is that they can easily be over powering, so keep it subtle (I think shoes , belts, or other small accessoiries are good for this perpose). If you really feel like being bold you can experiment with a larger amount of prints but counter balencing it with black or don't wear jewlery, because let's face it we should mostly leave mixing patterns for the professionals and let's face it even they don't always get it right.
I just want to make it clear this is not me, this is a blogger i discovered on loobook.nu (Trixiave).
Jacket from Queen's wardrobe $132 (Sold out at the moment)
Sweater from Queen's wardrobe $ 75 ( kind of a more wearable version of Alexander Wang *below)
Many designers use animal prints to spunk up there designs. One of my favorite uses was done by Mr. Alexander McQueen. In his last spring/ summer show (which I think I'm right to say will go down in history ) McQueen invented his own "animal prints".
I find these designs truly inspiring and hopefully I will be able to show all of you MY use of animal prints. (ps. i'm planning on attempting the blouse worn by Trixiave)

Lost Glasses...
Being the clumbsy person that I am, was walking down the street with my bag wide open, half way to the subway station, my sister noticed and told me to zip it back up. I was freaking out because I thought that my cell phone fell out. Thankfully my phone slid of the top of my bag and landed in the side pocket. Unfortunatly, I didn't think to look for my glasses while I was stopped. Guess what? I LOST MY FREAKING GLASSES. Which is really bad news for me considering that I am totally blind without them. So I am not a happy camper at this present moment in time...
My old glasses pretty much looked like this only they were purple with blue on the inside and AWSOME! and I am really upset right now...(and they wern't raybands...they were nockoffs I guess...)
I know designers are saying "geek " is out but I don't think I agree, Let's face it it apprears that the "hipsters" and the general public are now making decisions about what is "in" or not. Thought the designers claim its out Geek (especially in glasses) , in my opinon won't be out for a long time.
My favorite pair in the bunch are definatly the "Klark Kent" Pair (3). I love how the bottom has a gold wire and the top has the heavy plastic. Of course I wouldn't recomend Those glasses to anyone who has a heavier brow.... but I think I could get away with them considering my eyebrows are almost invisible.

Birkenstocks
I've pretty much been wearing birkenstocks my whole life (thanks mom!) but recently i've decided I think its time to move on from the "jap" style and start branching out.
These are the Birkinstocks that I've been wearing for ages, and I practically have worn them to death as you can see they are the "classics" but in my option they are pretty mundane.
As you can tell, I really like the look of several starps (well more that just 2). I've seen several people sporting the florida's (3) and/or the orlando's (5) but I really think they look nice. Not many people choose to wear the granada (2) or the bali (1) but I really like how the three straps join into one. (They have a lot of detail, but still look elegant , well as elegant as you can get with with birkenstocks.
I think my favorite pair is the granada, I'll let you know if I end up getting them!

Pet Peeves
So basically I started this blog to "find myself" but I don't think i'll ever repeat that again because it is so damn cheesy. I know what type of blogger I want to be, so this is a kind of reminder to self, DON'T CARRY ON TO MUCH. Another thing I find anoying on blogs is when bloggers never post pictures of themselves wearing clothes, etc... so POST PICTURES OF YOURSELF. (Fortunatly you do not have a camera / cord with you now because you are dog/house sitting... but after that is a requirement.) Good luck with everything.....self?

Happy Birthday Harry!!!
Well, I guess you don't know yet... but one of my many obsession (since i was young) is Harry Potter, as any of my friends and / or family will tell you. As any harcore Potter fan will tell you, TODAY IS HARRY POTTER's BIRTHDAY, well I guess more importantly it is also J.K. Rowlings birthday. If Harry was actually alive today he would be turning the big 3-0 ! I can't figure out a better way to start than posting a hybred of two of my favorite things fashion and potter...
One of my favorite characters in Harry Potter is Luna Lovegood (played in the films by Evanna Lynch). I love Evanna as Luna, I think she has such an awsome voice especially for the character. I also think it awsome that she was a die-hard fan before being cast. I also realy love that she actualy gets involved with the costume department, I would hope anyone with a Potter addiction like me, would know that Evanna actually made alot of the jewlery seen in the movie. Anywho swaying a bit off topic....I don't think anyone could deny that Luna has a truly "unique" style to say the least... and thought I don't think I would ever wear some of the things that she is seen wearing, I have to admit I really love that she doesn't seem to care what others think of her. I love her confidence. Altought there are many hideous things, Luna has made some awesome choices. For the none Potter freaks I'll try to post some things a little more down to earth and wearable.
Kay... I don't mean to seem arrogant but I made these earings and MINE are way awsome than these (kay there not way more... there just 3D) I always get asked by people what exactly they are... easy answer = kind of like raddishes?? HardCore answer = dribbble plums, with which I often find my self getting weird looks...so I usually just say radishes...
I'm being really lazy right now , I know not a good way to start off.... but I didn't actually make this... I just found it on polyvore... sorry hehe -_-
Hehe well this isn't serious, but still awsome
Altought this isn't a very good picture i kind of like this outfit. I don't think you would ever see me wearing this... i'll just admire it from afar...
I have already made one similar to the first w/out the blue beads (i think i will add them now that i think of it...) but I think the last one is pretty cool.
I attempted to make this beedle ring... but i forgot the ring part.. so i just wear it as a necklace
I find this silver dress pretty goofy but I think it is soo luna.
Here is a picture of the cast of Order of the pheonix. I love how everyone is so dressed up except for Evanna and Rupert who I love! (LOVE her pants!)
An obvious choice for this post is EMMA WATSON. At the moment Emma is pretty much a fashion darling in both the americas and in her native England.
I Adore how simple Emma's sense of style is, it seems so elegant and non chalant. One of my favorites is the white shirt with the snakes on it. Love it so much.
I love Bag and caged shoes but i don't think I completely agree with the red dress.
I wish I was British so I wouldn't look like a dork wearing I union Jack!!
I absolutly love the first dress. Just to informe you I pretty much love any with sequence and I love how it almost looks like flakes of gold just glued on I also love the simple black belt. Let me just point out if you haven't noticed already... EMMA HAS AMAZING TASTE IN SHOES I pretty much love every single pair she wears.
I thought I would pop in a picture of one of her burberry campagne photos, because I think she can really pull off a trench coat.
Last but certainly not least, I am absolutly in LOVE with the last outfit (she's at a summer fair in sommerset, England) I love everything about it! I love how it isn't busy but there are man elements in it. And I love animal prints (which i find weird cause i'm a vegitarian and totally against fur) the blouse has made me soo jealous I really am considerinng going out and attempting to make one myself. Ofcoure the classic high waisted levi's jean shorts. ***sigh** I think I will be purchasing a pair soon (fingers crossed) and I am soooo happy :)
Anywho must be off I am off to watch the stepford wives with my sisters.

Good Morning Starshine, the Earth Says Hello...
Well I guess I should start with an introduction. My Name Is Zoe. I have a tendency to become obsessed with things, so I decided to start this blog to keep track / tame some of my hobbies. (I am also a terrible speller if any one is reading this, you probably already know...)
This is my life.....enjoy
